And He gave some as apostles, and some as prophets, and some as evangelists, and some as pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of service, to the building up of the body of Christ;

Ephesians 4:11-12

I am, at best, a sinner saved by grace who has come to learn over many years of living life with Christ that He is a far greater Savior than I am a sinner. I have served the Lord as a Christian school teacher, police officer, pastor, and for the last few years as a missionary.  When my family and I returned from Africa, I spent a lot of time traveling to hard-to-reach areas in East Asia and Africa to train national pastors.  More recently, I accepted the call to join the elder team at Unity Bible Church in Lewiston, Maine where I will serve as pastor. When not on a plane heading overseas or preaching I like to hang out with my family, go deer and turkey hunting, and drink coffee.  I live life with my wife Nancy and two of our eight children who are still at home.  I love Christ, although very much imperfectly, and I am striving for holiness, with a great many setbacks along the way. I hold wholeheartedly to the proposition that God is most glorified in me when I am most satisfied in Him. If you want to know more about me you can ask my wife and kids and they’ll tell you everything I said is true–especially the part about being a great sinner.
